The only ray of light at the moment seems to be that exercise is being encouraged (so long as carried out with all the other guidelines currently being issued). It’s become increasingly clear that this is a long-haul problem but the studies around the positive impact of running on mental health are well documented. People will need to run or exercise – there will be no endorphins in any other way.
Running Hub will continue to stay open until mandated not to. And if anyone is worried about social interaction, we are launching a Deliveroo-style service that can be done from the (relative) comfort of your own home and doesn’t rely on the postal system! If you know what running shoes you need (and size) simple phone the shop (01892 530559) and we will take payment over the phone and deliver to your door (which you don’t even need to open). Of course, until directed otherwise, we’d rather see you here.
Welcome to Running Hub, one of the leading independent running retailers in the South East.
We have built a strong reputation over the last 10 years for providing excellent customer service through our knowledge and understanding of running and footwear. We understand that every customer is different but our approach – based on years of running experience and technical expertise – ensures that everyone goes through the same journey.
Your running shoes are the most important piece of kit that you’ll need: wearing the wrong shoes can mean injury and time away from running. Our hands on approach to fitting footwear ensures that every customer leaves the shop in the shoes that are right for them. We stock leading brands such as ASICS, Brooks, Saucony, Mizuno, New Balance and Inov8 and emerging brands such as 361, Karhu, OOFOS and Altra. We also stock a wide range of accessories and apparel, everything from socks to shorts, toe guards to k-tape. But don’t take our word for it – visit the store today to find your next running shoes.
