A lot of things are better bought online these days, but running shoes are definitely NOT one of these things!If you haven't had lots of different shoes out on the floor to try on a treadmill, been able to ask lots of questions to someone who actually knows the shoes and the different advantages etc, and who properly measure your shoe you are most likely leaving loads of gains in time and comfort out on the road/trail/track.I have bought a pair of Brooks Adrenaline and road socks, and just bought some brooks Cascadias with waterproof socks. Both are absolutely epic. I also had a good chat about if I needed waterproof shoes or that the socks would be better, which for my goals they are.*also the trail shoes were cheaper than online currently!Thank you.

I just wanted to give my feedback on the Running Hub. I bought a pair of ON trainers from a shop in TW and after a month of training i started to get knee pain. I thought about going back to the shop but instead found the Running Hub online. The service was informative and the after a go on the treadmill to analyse my gait, my new shoes were purchased. The knee pain has disappeared and I'm delighted. These guys are the standard for anything running in Tunbridge Wells.

I desperately needed some new trainers for my fairly wide feet. We decided to take a trip over to the running hub, so glad we did, excellent service and advice, gait analysis done and came away with a wicked pair of trainers that fit bang on! We will certainly be going back!

Emailed the shop during lockdown for advice and David came back to me with a series of questions until we got to the trainers that suited my feet the best. My size was out of stock but they got them in within a few days and I collected them from the shop. Great service, definitely the best place for running trainers in the Tonbridge area. #shoplocal

I called the Running Hub after my recently purchased elsewhere 3 pairs of trainers were hurting. Something was wrong and I wanted expert advice. Assuming it was the style of trainer, David did a recorded video of my walking using the treadmill in-store. Not only was it the style of trainer BUT... I needed a size 10 trainer when I'd been wearing size 8! Beyond mortified at A) Suddenly realising I have gigantic girls feet and B) Embarrassed I didn't really know how a shoe should fit. I came away feeling on cloud 10 (haha!) with socks that don't slip down my ankles and a pair of trainers, that despite the size, are black and pink and "girly". David has all sizes and fits in store, he wasn't phased by my needs, was friendly, informative and has saved me a lot of stress, pain and finance from buying shoe after shoe! Highly recommend.

Having only recently taken up running, I realised that everything was hurting more than it should(!) so decided to visit an independent running shop for some advice. It didn't take long for the (very knowledgeable owner) David to realise that my footwear was not giving any support to my ankles and achilles. Fast forward a couple of months and the new Saucony shoes I bought are working wonders. I can run further and faster and the joint pain has gone. Definitely recommend!

Just a little message about my time at the Running Hub today....AWESOME! The gentleman, with the unending patience, who worked withme was Fabulous talking me though options and answering my plethora of questions. When I was skeptical about the colour option of the trainer he recommended he searched and found the amazing Saucony Triumph 18 fresh from a delivery, not even on the shelf yet. This is a great shop, and Dave is extermely knowledeable and really enthusiastic about running. Big selection of shoes for all types of running. My recent purchase was a paid of Inov8 trail shoes which Dave recommended and which are perfect.Just ran the Beachy Head 10k in them and I was so glad I had these shoes. My fastest ever 10k time!I'll be buying all my shoes and running gear from here in the future.

I decided to avoid Tunbridge Wells high street to buy my running shoes today because I wanted some good advice, fitting and direction towards the right pair for me. I got that today at the running hub. I don’t know whether it was it was a placebo effect from ditching my knackered old air max’s and buying a shiny new pair of Saucony shoes, but it shaved 40 seconds per mile off my time over 4 miles!! Well worth it, thanks to the running hub!

Wonderful service. If you want the right kit to run with then this is a great place to go. I tried on about four pairs of trainers which were picked for me by the very knowledgeable man who runs the shop, and I'm very happy with them. I visited eight at the end of the day but I wasn't rushes at all, and I very much felt that what I ended up buying was right for me.

My running shoes of 7 years ago are finally dead. I bought them from a specialist running shop and they have honestly been the best purchase of my life. So I visited Allan in this shop as I have relocated since the last pair! Wow what a friendly, helpful and knowledgable man. Such a great experience, he is so patient while you dither and think! You can run on the running machine in the shop or up and down the shop to test and let him assess your style. Absolutely love my new running trainers that he chose to suit me and have already been inspired to get out in them same day! If you think how much my pair cost over 7 years it’s about £15 a year for beautiful comfort! Thanks Allan :)

Both guys happy to help and offer advice. I did go in knowing which trainer i wanted to buy and ended up walking out the shop with a different brand which i've worn on one 3 mile run and seem to squash my toes. Phoned the shop to ask if there was anything they could do to help with this ie. exchange/bigger size etc and the answer was no. Dissapointing as the trainers dont come cheap! Expect no aftercare once you buy...

Very busy as this is a specialised running shoe shop run by people who run and know about running. It also has a tread mill to help the staff diagnose your running style. Discounts are given if you belong to a running club. If you are more interested in the functionality of you running shoe this is the place to come. Think Sweatshop but with service given by experts, however the lack of the range in terms of styles and colours may disappoint the more aesthetically fussy person (my daughter for example)This is a great shop.

The best running shop in town! Sells a wide range of running wear, shoes and equipment and most important good advice. The owner is closely connected to the local running club (TW Harriers) so knows his business and many of his customers really well.
